Just like a loss after a football game, I am reflecting on what conservatives should have learned from this loss.  Republicans had a chance to reform social security and failed.  They also had a chance to take a stand on protecting our borders and failed.  Both times republicans were more interested in being re-elected and not fighting for what is right.(Pun not indented!)  
Never should we ever back down from the "true" basic principles that conservative republicans stand for.  Time and time again  trying to work with democrats has not paid off.  So, what do we get, The words "Hello Speaker Pelosi"   

But this loss could bring about a victory in '08.  Now the demos have to put up or shut up.  What is there plan to protect us against terrorism?  What will the reaction of the American public be like when our taxes go back up.  The next two years could wake the base up, and failed policies of the demos will show this country that we need a strong conservative republican in the White House.

As a Coach, I always say the shame is not in the losing, but the shame is not learning from the loss and letting it happen again.
